The terms that apply when you book work with Yard Kings Property Solutions.

1. Who we are
Yard Kings Property Solutions ("Yard Kings"), currently trading as Yard Kings, based in Bradford and operated by Leon. We provide free scrap metal collection, gardening, and property maintenance services across Bradford, Keighley, Halifax, Burnley, Colne, and Bolton.
2. Quotes & pricing
We don't publish fixed prices for gardening or property maintenance work on this site — every job is different, so pricing is quote-based via WhatsApp or phone. A quote we give you isn't a binding contract until you confirm you'd like to go ahead — you're free to compare quotes elsewhere first. If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking, message or call us as early as possible so we can offer the slot to someone else.
3. Scrap metal collection & fridge/freezer disposal
Household scrap metal collection is free. Fridges and freezers are the one exception — because they're WEEE-regulated and can't go in with general scrap, they're collected for a fixed disposal fee instead: £25 for an under-counter unit, £35 for a standard fridge or freezer, £40 for a combined fridge-freezer, £60–£80 for an American-style fridge-freezer, and commercial fridges are quoted individually. These fees are shown on our Scrap Metal Collection page and cover the real cost of compliant disposal.
4. Liability
Property maintenance and gardening work involves being on your property and using tools and equipment — we take reasonable care to avoid damage and work safely, but please let us know in advance about anything on-site we should be careful around (fragile features, pets, access restrictions). We're not liable for pre-existing damage or issues we weren't made aware of before starting work.
5. Waste carrier compliance
Yard Kings operates under an Upper Tier Waste Carrier Licence from the Environment Agency, as required for collecting and moving waste as part of our scrap metal service — we take this compliance seriously, not as an afterthought.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
